I know, what you might have thought: "Only six blog posts and she is away again..." not for good! I just enjoyed my summer vacation - actually pretty all August - to the fullest with little pc time and lots of new experiences - and these I want to tell about today! It was very much a staycation as I did not book a hotel or anything to stay in but still, I was away pretty much 90% of the time and either way, it was a veeeery cool vacation. Why? Letzte Woche hatte ich Ferien und habe mich nicht gemeldet - ja, ich weiß... Ich poste sonst auch, wenn ich auf Sizilien bin, aber diesmal bin ich wirklich untergetaucht - auch wenn nur für eine Woche... Zurück ins Office, hat mich N. sogar gefragt, was ich gemacht hatte, weil man nichts von mir mitbekommen hatte. Ehrlich gesagt... ich hatte, es gar nicht realisiert! Ein paar Minuten später kam der Handy-Bildschirmzeitbericht und ja, ich hatte tatsächlich fast 25% weniger Zeit am Handy...

Kennt Ihr das, wenn Ihr nicht zuhause seid, Ihr Euch aber wie zuhause fühlt? Es ist ein wunderschönes Gefühl! Wednesday - 06:34 am - departure from Basel. Arrival at the Hotel Sina Villa Medici at 02:40 pm after having passed about an hour in the library "La Feltrinelli" in the main station, S. Getting up at 2 o'clock? A flight is waiting for me! Stress? Kind of if I'm sincere but I was so excited to fly to Sicily! Vacation is coming!!! Well... maybe it was a bit too early but at 8 in the morning we already were at the airport of Catania, in order to enjoy the whole first day!
